The Doryopteris cordata (Antenna fern) is a large inland fern species native to Southeast Asia and Central and South America. The leaves are heart-shaped and finely toothed, with a length of about 15 to 30 cm. The color of the leaves varies from light green to dark green. Doryopteris cordata is a  entering that does well in shade, but can also grow in partial shade. It is often used as an ornamental plant in gardens and parks because of its beautiful foliage and easy care. The plant has an average water requirement and thrives in moist soil. Doryopteris cordata is non-toxic and is therefore often used in homes and offices as a houseplant or in a terrarium.
